Getting started

Yes. You keep your existing WhatsApp Business number and connect it to Buvvo through the official Meta WhatsApp Business connection. One thing to know: Meta does not transfer your past chat history when you connect, so back up your chats before you switch on Buvvo.

Connect your WhatsApp Business number through the official Meta connection, add your products manually or with a bulk spreadsheet upload, set up how you want the AI to sound, and switch it on. From there Buvvo answers customers, takes orders, and sends payment links inside WhatsApp.

The AI helper

5 questions

Pidgin and English. Those are the two languages the AI supports on every plan, including Free.

Yes. Once you switch the AI on, it replies to customers automatically: answering questions, taking orders, and sending payment links. There is no draft mode and nothing to approve. You can switch it off whenever you want.

Yes. You set up the tone yourself, so the AI replies the way your shop talks to customers. It is a setting you configure, not something the AI learns from your past messages.

Refunds and complaints. Those always go to a human on your team, the AI never handles them on its own. Everything else, like product questions, orders, and payment links, it handles automatically.

The AI replies in 0.4 seconds on average, so your customers get an answer almost instantly instead of waiting for you to be free.

Marketplace

7 questions

The Buvvo Marketplace is a public directory of Nigerian vendors who sell on WhatsApp. Every vendor gets a shop page showing what they sell, and buyers can find a shop and start a WhatsApp chat with the vendor in one tap.

Search or filter the Marketplace by product, category, or city and state. Each result opens the vendor’s shop page, where you can see their catalog and tap to message them on WhatsApp.

Vendors on the Marketplace are real Nigerian shops selling through their own WhatsApp Business numbers. [CONFIRM: is KYC verification live today? If yes, this answer should describe it; if not, keep the current wording.]

You buy directly from the vendor on WhatsApp, so you can ask questions and confirm details before you pay by card, bank transfer, or USSD through the payment link the vendor sends. Buvvo does not hold your money or offer escrow, so treat it like any direct purchase: chat with the vendor and confirm the order before paying.

Open the vendor’s shop page on the Marketplace and tap to start a WhatsApp chat. The conversation happens in your normal WhatsApp, straight with the vendor.

Sign up for Buvvo and your shop gets a Marketplace listing. A listing is included with every plan, including Free. [CONFIRM: is listing free and open to all vendors immediately on signup?]

No. Your Buvvo shop page is your storefront: buyers can see what you sell and message you on WhatsApp directly from it. No separate website needed.
